Thursday we awoke at the casa mtb for a round of cazadores and huevos con papas....ahhhhh....

A quick inventory and all bags and bikes are tucked in and we are on our way west out Grand Junction...stop 1 on the westward slope tour, destination Loma and the Kokopeli loops...
Standard issue of Mary's, Horse Thief, Steve's, Rustlers, Handcuffs in a new improved direction aka..the right direction (thanks doctor)and the KremeBroolay More Fun!

Our start time is much later than anticipated due to a large truck being
tusselled on IH 70 at the head of the Glen Springs Canyon....

oh well..could'nt pick much worse digs than the Rockies to be stuck on the highway...

well late start an all the trail is all ours for the taking.. Seems everyone here has had there fill and there party is getting wound up as we begin to roll out of the parking lot for Mary's.

The beauty of the start time was as we progressed throughout the network of loops the sun light was doing its magic on the canyons and mesa's of the western slopes...

More Fun was a fine finish to see the sun set...twas a little sketchy on the descent
seem's i really need to respect and observe the 3x5 post card from the eye doctor....but no
worries, a little kerfuffle here an there.and alls well...

the customary post ride imbibe in the parking lot was enhanced by all followed by streetside pizza and mockery of all whom graced our presence....little troll via the city market and off we go for slumber in the confines of rabbit valley.....
